Anger Management

We provide Anger Management services in all of our Psychotherapy modalities and through our Anger Management Programs listed below. We singled out the anger symptom as we have a high demand for services to address this specific concern. Our Anger Management Programs address anger in the context of clients lives and relationships - additional psychotherapy work might be required depending on the nature of what is driving the anger.


Anger is a normal feeling that serves as a red flag to an individual that their boundaries are in conflict, they are being wronged in some way, and their needs are not being met. Anger becomes a symptom and problematic when it is used as a defense mechanism to address issues masking more vulnerable feelings that need tending. This is the anger we address in the anger work. The anger work assists clients understand what is driving their anger, identifying the pain and hurt underneath the anger, and how this perpetuates the reactive and dissatisfying pattern of relating with their partner and others.


Clients learn how to address their vulnerable feelings, change their dissatisfying dynamic, get needs met, and deeply connect with their loved ones. They gain communication, conflict resolution and relationship enhancement tools and get tons of tips and resources to assist them in their journey.

Individual Anger Management Program (Group Format)

Clients resolve their "anger" by learning where it comes from, how it gets triggered, its function and by addressing its underlying cause. This process assists clients address their masked vulnerable feelings, change how they relate to others, and get their needs met. They are finally able to be themselves and invite acknowledgement, acceptance, nurturing and intimacy in their life and relationships.

Couple Anger Management Program

The program assists the couple learn about their anger (one or both partners' anger) and how to address it so it no longer wrecks havoc in their lives and relationship. The program is very thorough in that not only does it address and resolve the anger, but it assists the couple address and change their dynamic for a more satisfying and successful relationship. The anger work is done in the context of the relationship.


The couple resolves their "anger" by learning where it comes from, how it gets triggered, its function and by addressing its underlying cause. This process assists the partners address their masked vulnerable feelings, change how they relate to each other, and get their needs met. They are finally able to be themselves and feel acknowledged, accepted, connected, nurtured and loved in their relationship. They build a more deeply intimate, satisfying and successful relationship.

Child and Adolescent Anger Management Program

The program assists the youngster learn about their anger and how to address it so it no longer gets them in trouble in their lives.


The young client resolves their "anger" by learning where it comes from, how it gets triggered, its function and by addressing its underlying cause with the assistance of their parents and/or family context, as necessary. This process assists the young clients identify their emotions, address their masked vulnerable feelings, communicate these to others, change how they relate to others, and get their needs met. They are finally able to be themselves, get acknowledgement and acceptance. The program assists them build self-esteem, learn communication and conflict resolution skills, learn and strengthen life skills, and build intimate relationships.
